Blood donation is a critical and necessary health care activity. It is vital we keep our blood supply strong. Blood has a short shelf life and must be continually replenished.
The Y is hosting a Vitalant Blood Drive. Vitalant is the first national blood collector to test all successful (complete) blood donations for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, which they’re providing as an additional benefit to donors.
