Class Schedules

20/20/20

The 20/20/20 class begins with 20 minutes of cycling guaranteed to bring you into your training zone! You will then move into a 20 minute combination of strength and high-intensity drills followed by 20 minutes of core exercises and stretching. This balanced class is energizing, strengthening and more!

Beginner Boot Camp

Have you ever thought about joining a boot camp class but weren’t quite sure you could do it? This beginner boot camp class is a great place to start as it will ease you into running, push-ups, abdominal work and all the drills associated with a boot camp class. We will also show you a myriad of modifications so that you can fearlessly attend any boot camp class and know how to take care of your body.

Boot Camp 

This is a challenging, highly structured, athletic-based class with no choreography involved. The class incorporates plyometric training and physical military moves.

Boxing

These classes are designed to be engaging, fun, and provide participants with important skills needed in everyday life. Never had boxing experience? Not a problem. This class will teach fundamental boxing skills. Participants must provide their own hand wraps and gloves. We offer two boxing classes: Adult: ages 18-64 and Senior: ages 65+.

Butts ‘n Guts

Butts 'n Guts is a special focus class just for your lower body! We'll use weights, Pilates, and plyometrics to sculpt, strengthen, and tone all your core muscles, working on the back, butt and thighs in particular.
 

Cardio Kickboxing

This class is designed to increase your cardiovascular endurance and strengthen your entire body. You will be taught kickboxing techniques using body weight and dumbbell's. Our instructor will take you through ten rounds of kickboxing combo's. Come ready to learn the fundamental's of kickboxing and leaving feeling confident with a new martial-arts skill set.

Cardio Strength

You will use a variety of different props (balls, bands, BOSU, dumbbells) to do intervals of cardio. This class will keep your heart rate up, build strength and challenge every muscle group.

Core Express

Want a stronger core? Come take Core Express! Push your core muscles and learn the proper way to engage them along the way.

HIIT 

High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) This class includes plyometric drills, strength, power, resistance and abs/core training moves.

Body Combat

Les Mills BodyCombat

Les Mills BodyCombat is a high-energy -inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn **up to 740 calories** in a single class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu.

Les Mill BodyPump 

BodyPump is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BodyPump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Les Mills BodyPump Express 

All of the great moves and music that you have come to expect in a Les Mills BodyPump class - but in a routine that uses combinations of body parts for added intensity. This class will have you in and out in 45 minutes!

POUND Class

POUND is a full-body workout that combines cardio, strength training adn drumming with yoga and Pilates inspired movements. Participants use lightly weighted drumsticks called Ripstix to help create the music. This 45-minute class can burn up to 900 calories and includes over 15,000 reps. The POUNDtrack series is a fusion of rock, rap, dubstep, pop and old school music. For all fitness levels. 

This entry level assault defense course is designed for individuals with no previous training. We will focus on practical skills such as situational awareness and, if necessary, physical self-defense techniques.  Our goal is to empower you to escape from a threat as quickly and efficiently as possible. The course will cover responses to low, medium, and high threat situations, including simple hand grabs and defense against a knife or gun. Notably, many of the techniques we teach are effective with minimal force.  This is an open on-going class; members may join at any time.

Snow Sports Training Program

Pre-season preparation, building strength, endurance and coordination is the best way to ensure you have fun on the slopes! This class will meet twice a week for six weeks and trains all the muscle groups needed for a successful season on the mountain. We will focus on core and lower-body muscles (quads, hamstrings, glutes) while aiming to improve your mobility and balance. Please consult a physician before beginning any exercise program.

Step

Step it to the next level with an intense cardio workout utilizing an adjustable step bench or the floor. Be ready to work at a higher level with more challenging choreography and elevated intensity!

Step & Strength

A fun-filled cardio and strength workout using steps, weights, lunges, squats and abdominal and flexibility conditioning. Leave this class feeling great for the rest of the day!

Strength Circuit

Taught in a small group, this class provides a full body strength training workout using barbells, dumbbells (the heavy ones), Kettlebells, and body weight to build a stronger you! This class is offers traditional strength/gym style resistance training.

Strength & Stretch

Using a variety of equipment, we work to improve our strength as well as our flexibility.

Take Down Tuesday

The class consists of five to eight compound exercises that challenge major upper- or lower-body muscle groups, as well as some type of cardiovascular interval for a complete workout. The circuits are structured using time or repetitions, and the exercises can be performed at an intensity level that creates a very high level of fatigue by the end of the circuit. Rest is self-selected. This class is dedicated and in memory of Jim Moulton, a long time regular to the Y.

TRX 

Born in the US Navy SEALS, TRX® Suspension Training is a method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries. 60 minute format.

TRX Circuit 

A performance training tool that leverages gravity and your body weight to enable hundreds of exercises. The exercises simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Get a fast, effective total body workout. This class will benefit people of all fitness levels and abilities.
