A summer spent at YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake will give you opportunities to work with children, experience new activities, learn new skills and tackle challenges daily.
At YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake, we seek staff who, first and foremost, are passionate about being positive role models for and working with children. Our goal is to create an environment where all campers and youth feel safe, welcomed and supported. After all, the Y is for all. It’s part of the Y’s mission and it is what we consider the most important hallmark of camp.
Working at an overnight camp is an exciting, exhausting, demanding and rewarding opportunity. A successful camp staffer is truly committed to providing all campers with great experiences, helping them to grow, develop new skills and create relationships. Great camp staffers are able to put the needs of others before their own. They work on behalf of the YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake community, and guide campers to be creative and learn that it is all right to fail at something and to have fun while trying something new. We look for staff who can teach our kids about the world in which they live.

Join us at the Y’s brand-new lakeside mountain day and overnight camp located just 20 miles from Boulder. YMCA Camp Tumbleson Lake is a beautiful 300-acre camp that celebrates exploration, nature education and outdoor recreation. It’s an incredible classroom in which to share your passion for the outdoors.
